In your home

It does not take a room away from you

In most existing houses there is no obvious position for a conventional homelift. Finding one usually means giving up part of a room, and that is the reason many people stop looking.

Why a conventional homelift is usually refused

It is rarely that it does not work. It is that the only place to put it is the corner of a living room, or a bedroom that someone is still using.

Elevante works the other way round. The travel path is the volume the staircase already occupies, so the plan of the house does not change.

Section through a house showing the Elevante Homelift The cabin travels vertically inside the staircase footprint, behind the stair flight, between the ground floor and the first floor. The staircase stays in place. An automatic door closes the opening at the upper floor whenever the cabin is elsewhere, and the lower opening closes as the cabin rises. What the survey establishes

Every house is different. These are the things the installer measures before anything is ordered.

CHECK 01

The staircase itself

Its rise, its going, and how much of the footprint is usable once the cabin is in it.

CHECK 02

The floors above and below

What the opening at the upper floor can be, and what the slab allows.

CHECK 03

Getting to the stairs

The hall, the doorways and the turning space on both floors, because the journey does not start at the cabin.

CHECK 04

Power and services

What has to be run, and where it can be run without opening up the whole house.

See an Elevante before you decide

Authorised installers handle the survey, the quotation and the installation. Several have a working Elevante you can travel in.
